Funky Town

My first try at writting an animated tut..

Hope you like it..

You must have working knowledge of PSP..

Supplies:

PSP9 any version will work..

Animation Shop..

Tube of Choice: I am using the fantastic artwork of Pinup Toons..

You must have a license to use his artwork which you can purchase HERE..

Scrap Kit of Choice: I am using the awesome PTU kit "FunkyTown" by Katz Scrapz..

Which you can purchase HERE..

Mask of Choice: I am using Vix_Mask202 & Vix_Mask206 HERE under Goodies..

Font of Choice: I am using Bangle..

Drop Shadow: 2 -2 50 7

Filters:

EyeCandy 4000 - Glass..

Okay lets get started..

Open a new image 650x650 flood fill white..

Paste Frames as a new layer resize by 60%..

With your magic wand click inside the rectangle selections modify - expand by 7..With a paper of choice paste as a new layer..Selections invert - delete selections none..

Move this layer below the frame..

Now back on your frame layer with your magic wand click inside the top square..Selections modify - expand by 5.. Paste paper of choice selections invert - delete..Do not deselect..

Paste your tube as a new layer position it so part of the tube is ing the frame hit delete selections none..Add a drop shadow and rename it Tube 1..

Now do the same to the other 2 squares using different papers and different parts of your tube..Also rename them Tubes 2 & 3..

Making sure your Frames is the top layer..Highlight it and add EyeCandy - Glass with the following settings : 7.78 75 18 0 50 0 50 colour white..

Add a drop shadow..

Paste your tube as a new layer position it in front of the rectangle add a drop shadow..

Add any elements you wish..

Now to add your masks..Highlight your background layer add a new layer..Flood fill with a colour from your tube..Load mask - delete mask layer - merge group..

Repeat this step to add the 2nd mask..

With a font of choice add your name add a drop shadow..

Add the correct copyright..

Now To Animate:

Open animation shop...

Back in PSP merge layers visible then copy and paste in animationshop..

Back to PSP undo and x our Tube 2 & 3..Then merge visible..Copy back in animation paste after current frame..

Back to PSP undo and repeat for Tube layers 2 & 3..

You should have 5 frames..

Change frame properties on layers 1 & 5 to 50 and frames 2, 3, 4 to 20..

Save as a gif..

Then your done..
